
Spring blossom in the orchards of the Valais brings a riot of colour.
Most of the apricots that we put into our cellars come from our own domains that are nearly exclusively planted with the Luizets variety (traditional variety of the Valais region). Our head of culture works on Morand’s 20 hectares all year round, pruning, treating and collecting fruit – he is our guarantee of an exceptional fruit quality.
Our few orchards of Williams Pears are used as a reference, but do not play as big a part of what we put into cellars as Apricots. |
